Akron Art Museum’s Free Downtown @ Dusk Concert Series Takes Place

AKRON, Ohio – Akron Museum of Art Downtown @ Dusk Concert Series is set to return this summer.

It will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays from July 8 to 29. The rain or sun series will be live and will have a virtual viewing option. The concerts take place in the museum’s Bud and Susie Rogers Garden.

The schedule

July 8: Curtis Taylor Quartet (Jazz). Taylor is a trumpeter.

July 15th: Sammy Deleon and Su Orquesta (Latin Jazz). Deleon is a conductor and drummer.

22nd of July: Timi funk (Neo-Soul, Blues). The singer is from Akron.

July 29: Strip 15 60 75 numbers (Blues, Jazz, Rock). The well-known group formed in Kent in 1969.

The series, in its 37th season, will be broadcast live on the museum’s YouTube and Facebook platforms.

The museum is located at 1 High St., Akron.
