Calling it “a revolutionary day,” Britney Spears enthusiastically announced Thursday August 5 that she is finally the proud owner of an iPad.
“Okay guys, good news – I got my first iPad today. So my hair is up, I’m in my garden and I’ve been working. But, I walked into the kitchen and I saw something I ordered, and it’s a creepy new iPad, “the 39-year-old pop star said in a video posted to her Instagram account. “I am so excited.”
She said: “My life looks different with an iPad … I’ve never had one before !!!!”
Spears told her 32.9 million fans that while her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, “had one” for some time, she never had an iPad to herself.
“This is just a revolutionary day,” continued Spears. “I’ve always had a little phone, but now this iPad is in my hands, and I feel like my life is changing as we speak, and I’m so excited. Up, yes!”
Spears ended the video with a short clip of her doing a few foot movements while wearing a black jacket and pink heels.
“Could I do this if I was drunk, eh?” She asked, recreating a scene from the 2011 movie “Bridesmaids”.
She said: “Pssss I was proud of my new shoes at the end… I had to recreate the scene from Bridesmaids !!!!”
