Sing it loud! The 2021 Billboard Music Awards are sure to bring some noise and applause when Nick jonas hosts the show on Sunday 23 May.

The star-studded event wouldn’t be complete without Hollywood’s biggest names, many of whom are nominated for multiple awards.

The weekend topped the list of nominees with 16 nods, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Top Hot 100 Artist. DaBaby was just in second, winning 11 nominations in nine categories.

Taylor Swift will give The Weeknd a run for its money in the Top Artist category. The singer “Exile” is also a candidate for Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album for Folklore.

Country singer Gabby Barrett, however, has the most nods of any female artist this year. She is a nine-time finalist, including Top New Artist and Top Country Artist, where she will face all male artists. The 21-year-old “I Hope” singer will compete against the legendary Carrie Underwood and Maren Morris when it comes to Top Country Female Artist.

Before one of the greatest nights of music, Billboard announced that Duck receives the prestigious Artist of the Decade award after being named the Most Performing Artist of the Last Decade. The 34-year-old “God’s Plan” rapper currently holds the Most Billboard Music Awards title with 27 in total.

Pink also receives a special trophy, the Icon Award, on the Sunday broadcast. The coveted award honors musicians who have achieved excellence in the Billboard charts and have had a lasting effect on the music industry.

“As a little girl, I always dreamed of being a singer and sharing my love of music with the world,” said the “Raise Your Glass” singer, 41. Billboard before the show. “Years later, it’s hard to imagine receiving the Billboard Music Awards Icon Award! I feel so honored to join the ranks of music idols like Expensive, Garth Brooks, Janet Jackson and Stevie Wonder. It’s a real ‘pinch me’ moment and I feel honored and blessed. “

Rapper Trae tha truth will also receive the Change Maker Award for his philanthropic work and social justice efforts.
