Extension of the Sheridan Campus COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic in Brampton

The COVID-19 walk-in vaccination clinic at Sheridan’s Davis campus in Brampton is extended for two weeks.

The temporary clinic was scheduled to close last week, but will continue until March 5 to allow residents more opportunities to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

The clinic is open to walk-ins only between February 23-26, and again between March 2-5.

Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine doses are available for people ages 12 and older from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and pediatric doses of the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5 and 11 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. h 00.

Families wishing to receive doses for people 12 years and older as well as pediatric doses are asked to report to the clinic at 4:00 p.m.

The clinic is located in the M wing of the Davis campus and has approximately 300 doses available daily.

Peel Region reached an important milestone last month by fully vaccinating 90 per cent of eligible Mississauga and Brampton residents aged 12 and older. Peel Public Health also reports that 50% of eligible children in Peel between the ages of 5 and 11 have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The most recent figures from the HPP show that 94.1% of Peel residents over the age of 12 have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine, while 91.2% have received two doses as of February 18. .

More than 566,000 Peel residents have received a third dose. More than 90% of all Peel residents over the age of 5 have received at least one vaccine, while 85.3% have received two doses.

Since the summer of 2021, Sheridan says its on-campus clinics have helped administer more than 35,000 vaccine doses in collaboration with Peel Public Health, Indus Community Services, Punjabi Community Health Services, the Latin American Task Force on COVID-19 and the Government of Ontario. to hold a series of vaccination clinics throughout the summer of 2021.
