Keith Harrison Dworkin and Laura Schein Emojiland will arrive in the West End on October 31. The Garrick Theater will present a one-night only concert of the show, which originally opened Off-Broadway in January 2020.

The star of the cast will be Blake Patrick Anderson (be cooler), Laura Baldwin (Cinderella), Louise Dearmann (Nasty), Olly Dobson (Back to the future), Hiba Elchikhe (Everybody’s talking about Jamie), Renee Lamb (Six), Hanna Lowther (Heathers), Tim Mahendran (& Juliet), Natalie Paris (Six), Olivier Saville (rocky horror show), Johnny Weldon (101 Dalmatians), and Dean John Wilson (Aladdin).

The musical follows a community of emoji archetypes: a smiling face suffering from depression, a princess who doesn’t want a prince, and a skull dying from fading, to name a few.

Emojiland was originally presented by the New York Musical Festival. It then premiered Off-Broadway in 2020, produced by Visceral Entertainment and directed by Thomas Caruso. An original cast recording was released by Broadway Records.
