Today, she goes from theater to television screen. The Netflix series, which portrays the life of Mexican musician Luis Miguel, will return for a third and final season on the streaming platform later this year. Jade will play pop music icon Mariah Carey, who was in a relationship with Miguel between 1998 and 2001.
As Metro reports, Mariah will be central in the third season. The show’s finale will describe the couple’s love affair for three years. Diego Boneta will reprise his role as Luis Miguel.
With her beautiful and strong voice, Jade fits the role like a glove. Earlier, she shared that Mariah Carey was her idol and that she was honored to play the part. On Instagram, she captioned a teaser with the words: “Get ready, here she is…”
