Latin Grammy winner Luis Miguel to perform at the Prudential Center on June 14

(NEWARK, NJ) – He recently won his sixth Latin Grammy and the Latin American Music Award for “Best Tour of 2018,” the Mexican singer, icon and one of the most successful artists in Latin American history , Luis Miguel, will perform at the Prudential Center in Newark on Friday, June 14 as part of his 2019 North American Tour.

Luis Miguel has always set unprecedented records, not only because of his extraordinary voice, versatility that brings him into different genres such as pop, bolero, mariachi, big band and romantic ballads, but also because preparation, elegance and his true artistry, all this made him one of the great icons of music and a major Latin artist across the world.

Throughout his exceptional 37-year career, Luis Miguel has released 33 albums, many of which have achieved gold, platinum and diamond status. He has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and has won 6 Grammy and 6 Latin Grammy. The International Press Association of Las Vegas awarded him its most prestigious award, the Galardón Diamante. After completing a three and a half year long tour, he holds the record for the highest touring income in the history of any Latin artist. At the prestigious Viña del Mar festival he received the Gaviota in silver, gold and platinum, which has never been awarded to any other artist. In the National Auditorium, the most important forum in Mexico, Luis Miguel broke attendance records with 258 shows in this place, which has not yet been surpassed to this day. He has broken attendance records on each of his world tours and received numerous awards, the most recent being the Latin American Music Award for Best Tour of 2018.
