Latin sibling duos: Los Dos Carnales, Las Villa and more


Although they are not technically a duo, Angela Aguilar and Leonardo Aguilar, son and daughter of Pepe Aguilar, mark their territory on the Mexican regional scene. Angela and Leonardo have their own musical careers but don’t hesitate to sing together, especially when they are on tour.

Cali and El Dandee

Brothers Alejandro and Mauricio Rengifo have become Cali y El Dandee for over a decade. The Colombian duo are known for their pop-urban bops such as “Por Fin Te Encontre”, “Locura” and “Nada”, assisted by Danna Paola, to name a few. In addition to singing, Mauricio is a Latin Grammy Producer of the Year, who co-produced Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito”.

Jesse & Joy

Born in Mexico City, siblings Jesse and Joy made a name for themselves with their 2005 hit “Espacio Sideral”. Together they have brought to life some heartfelt pop jams including “¡Corre!”, “Dueles” and “Ecos de Amor”, to name a few. In 2007, they landed their very first Latin Grammy for Best New Artist. In total, they have six Latin Grammys and one Grammy. Currently they are taking the tour with their fifth studio album, Area.

Las Martí

Longtime Colombian duo Las Marti return with new album El Sol Va Saliendo, a tribute to their roots and to an authentic sound. Twin sisters Andrea and Vanessa Martí merges reggae, cumbia and Colombian rhythms in this set that transmits freedom, happiness and dance. Their song “Café de la Esperanza”, for example, is an ode to Bogota, Colombian coffee and the streets of La Candelaria.

Las Villa

Las Villa debuted in 2019 with “Nadita”, directed by Colombian twins Laura and Lucía. Signed at Warner Music Latina, Las Villa has already collaborated with Latin hitmaker Tainy on “Si La Vez” featured on his latest album. Las Villa, which brings edgy and mystical sound to urban music, has also teamed up with Beele, Miky Woodz and more.

Los Dos Carnales

Brothers Poncho Jr. and Imanol Quezada have been performing for over 10 years now, performing in buses and markets and at local parties in their hometown of Coahuila, Mexico. But it wasn’t until recently that Los Dos Carnales got their big shot after being “discovered” by El Fantasma, who contacted them in 2018 to collaborate. Los Dos Carnales, known for their distinctive norteño base sound, are signed with the Mexican regional label AfinArte.

Mau and Ricky

The songwriter brothers Mauricio and Ricardo Montaner, sons of Latin pop artist Ricardo Montaner, rose to fame after collaborating with artists such as Karol G, Lali, Thalia and Sebastian Yatra, to name a few. . On their latest studio album, Rifresh, the urban-pop duo do not shy away from innovative fusions such as the marriage of alternative rock with futuristic urban melodies.


Independent duo REYNA, made up of sisters Vic and Gab Banuelos, are two of the freshest voices in successive pop anthems. Hailing from the Midwest, the duo have toured with CHVRCHES and Kesha before. They are currently doing the tour with their single “Quarantine Baby”.

Simone & Simaria

Simon & Simaria is a Brazilian duo formed by sisters Simone Mendes Rocha Diniz and Simaria Mendes Rocha Escrig, which merges traditional forró rhythms with Latin pop and urban rhythms. Already an international success, the Latin Grammy nominated act was part of Karol G’s album ocean on the track “La Vida Continuo”.


Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, twin brothers Celo and Genio highlight their musical project Vice Menta. With songs such as “Granada”, “Rosé” and “Fusilando tus Memorias”, the bilingual duo display their experimental hip-hop-meet-R & B-meet-trap sound one song at a time. They are currently doing the tour with their “Solo Dio $” assisted by Aleman
