Our Town Stage has announced the launch of the Liberty Park 2021 summer concert series, premiering at the Liberty Park Amphitheater on July 23.
The first act selected for the series is The Legacy Motown Revue. Paying homage to legendary Motown icons, four talented artists will come together to dance and sing. Combined with an incredible six-piece horn group, you will be transported back in time to one of the most influential periods in American musical history.
One of the most successful new groups in country music, Parmalee, will be next to perform on August 6. Advertised as “the stars of country music” by MSN Entertainment, Parmalee has supported Brad Paisley and Jake Owen on national tours, and these platinum records Band of Brothers is not only nominated in 2016 for American country music “New Vocal Duo / Group of the Year, “but is also one of only four groups since 2001 to win three consecutive Top 10 singles on a country debut album.
Continuing the series’ lineup, popular beach band The Catalinas, slated for August 20. The Catalinas have enjoyed continued success for over 35 years and are known for their recordings, thousands of live performances, including numerous concerts, and the antics of their lively shows.
As one of the oldest bands in the East Coast beach music scene, Band of Oz will round out the concert series with their August 27 performance. As one of the most successful bands in the Southeast, The Band of Oz features a full brass section and a dynamic eight-member band.
