Luis Miguel Arellano – Velasquez
HUGHES SPRINGS – With a heavy heart, it is deeply sad to say that Luis Miguel Arellano Velazquez passed away on Tuesday morning December 7. Luis was born on August 25, 1998. Although he was only 23 years old, at the time of his death Luis touched many people during his life in a wonderful and positive way. He was considered by many to be a hardworking and loving father not only to his daughter but also to her siblings. He will be remembered for his infectious smile and his dedication to making people happy and loved.
Luis balanced his work and his university studies while providing for his family and building a future. Luis was the oldest of six siblings and a big brother to each of them. Luis is survived by his wife Yesenia Arellano, his daughter Lisette Anahi Arellano, his expected little boy, his parents Jose Luis Arellano and Maria Antonia Arellano, his sisters Yamilet Arellano, Andrea Arellano, his brothers Gerardo Arellano, Gustavo Arellano, his grand- parents, Salome Arellano, Rafaela Landeros, Antonio Velazquez Romero and Elvida Mata Garcia.
Luis will rest in the state on Friday, December 9. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. with a rosary to continue at 5:00 p.m. at her parents’ residence at 267 CR 2978 Hughes Springs, Texas. A Christian funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Daingerfield, Texas, with Father Eugene Tillekeratne as officiant. Interment will follow at Notre-Dame-des-Pins cemetery under the direction of the Horn-Nail-Haggard funeral home in Daingerfield.
Luis will forever be etched in our hearts and look down on us as we commemorate him.
