Luis Miguel’s Hot Latin Songs Poll: Vote – Billboard

Mexican crooner Luis Miguel turns 51 around the sun today (April 19), and we’re commemorating the big day by highlighting some of his Billboard graphic feats.

The famous Latin pop singer known as “El Sol de México (The Mexican Sun)”, who has been performing since the age of 12 and is known for his painfully beautiful songs like “La Incondicional” and “Fría Como el Viento,” boasts 1.2 billion on-demand career streams, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

It also takes second place with 11 No. 1s on the Latin Pop Albums chart, behind only Marco Antonio Solis, who leads with 12. Miguel’s 1991 album Romance spent a total of 164 weeks in the top 10 of the Latin Pop Albums chart, the fifth longest chart in the top 10.

Additionally, it placed 57 songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart; 39 of them reached the top 10 and 16 tracks landed at No. 1, including classics like “Si Nos Dejan,” which peaked at No. 1 for seven weeks, and “La Media Vuelta” passed. three weeks at the top.
