Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a popular dinner show located in Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, Pioneer Hall was unable to accommodate guests and in the fall of 2020, the cast of Hoop-Dee-Doo, were sadly fired.
The good news is that it wasn’t long ago that we reported that Disney may have recalled some of the actors from the Hoop-Dee-Doo. This could indicate that they are preparing to reopen the dinner show to guests, although nothing was confirmed at the time. Then, a few weeks later, Walt Disney World filed for a building permit at Pioneer Hall, also indicating that they may be considering bringing the show back.

While the permit doesn’t give a lot of details, we do know it’s for the Pioneer Hall address and for “terms and conditions”, which could really mean anything. It is possible that Disney will continue to file these permits to ensure the building is ready to welcome guests again whenever the time is right, however, this is pure speculation at this time.
We also know that Walt Disney World is continuing its gradual reopening as theme parks have made many changes to the safety protocols in place and continue to bring back live shows, such as Festival of the Lion King – currently running slightly modified version. and called A Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King – at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Therefore, bringing Hoop-Dee-Doo back to guests could be another part of Disney World’s gradual reopening.
