People’s Light announces a summer of live music


Gather your friends and family for live music at People’s Light all summer long! Driving Concerts return to the theater’s back parking lot, with a wide variety of bands performing June through September.

Don’t miss the very first Folk weekend at People’s Light, featuring six acts on two stages on July 24 and 25. And those who aren’t quite ready to come together for live music can stream award-winning singer-songwriter Jill Sobule F * ck7thGrade until June 30. The in-car concerts at People’s Light are the perfect way to relax, enjoy the summer, and listen to live music with friends. Concerts are paid per vehicle at $ 75 per car up to 5 passengers. Each vehicle has a parking spot and an adjacent ‘welcome space’ to set up lawn chairs and enjoy summer meals and refreshing drinks, which can be pre-ordered from The Farmhouse at People’s Light next door. Six groups, two days, two outdoor stages. Don’t miss the very first Folk Weekend at People’s Light on Saturday July 24 and Sunday July 25. Each day begins with an afternoon drive-through concert in the rear parking lot, followed by a more intimate performance at the Glen, home to the theater’s new outdoor stage with grass seating. Enjoy a summer drink and meal at The Farmhouse at People’s Light, open all afternoon to cool off before each day ends with a second concert behind the wheel.

Day passes cost $ 175 per day, per vehicle up to 5 passengers, and give you access to full Saturday or Sunday programming. (That’s less than $ 15 per concert, per person for groups of 4 or 5!) But don’t wait, only a limited number of day passes are available.

Did you miss the purchase of a pass or want to choose which numbers to see? No problem! You can buy tickets for individual Car Weekend Folk Concerts in the same way you would buy any event in the Car Concert Series.
