Ricky Martin returns to the top spot for the first time in over four years on a Billboard airplay chart as “A Veces Bien y A Veces Mal” (which translates to “Sometimes Good and Sometimes Bad”) with Reik rising from No. 7 to lead the Latin Airplay chart (dated August 27).
The artists’ first collaboration lands at the top in its 17th week, boosted by a 43% gain in viewership impressions to 9.1 million earned in the US in the week ending August 21, according to Luminate . With the biggest percentage gain of the week in terms of audience, he ejects “Me Porto Bonito” by Bad Bunny and Chencho Corleone from his week in charge. It drops to No. 2 on the current chart.
“A Veces Bien” marks Martin’s 18th manager and the first since his one-week champion “Fiebre”, with Wisin & Yandel, in May 2018. With the new champion, the pop star ties with Bad Bunny for the eighth-most among all acts, both with 18 wins.
