Luis Miguel: the series season 2 is much closer than you think!
The Netflix show based on the life of El Sol de Mexico has finally given a premiere date for the upcoming second season. You’ll be able to stream each episode starting April 18, and much like the first season launched weekly episodes, Netflix releases an episode every Sunday.
According to GQ Mexico, the second season will follow the theme “the brighter the sun, the darker the shadows” and cover Miguel’s most controversial scene with audiences where he had to learn to balance his professional career and personal struggles while filming the second season of La Vida by Luis Miguel.
Actors confirmed to return to the series include series star Diego Boneta, Camila Sodi, Juanpa Zurita, Pilar Santacruz, César Bordón and Martín Bello have already been confirmed. In addition, the new season will be joined by: Macarena Achaga as Michelle, the singer’s daughter; Fernando Guallar in the role of Mauricio Ambrosi; Pablo Cruz Guerrero as Patricio Robles; Juan Ignacio Cane in the role of José Pérez; Teresa Ruiz as Azucena; Valery Sais, who will play Michelle as a young man and Axel Llunas, who will play Sergio Basteri as a young man.
Fans of the show are hoping the second season takes a look at what may have happened to Miguel’s mother, Marcela Basteri. To date, Basteri has been missing for twenty-four years, and although scattered reports have surfaced that Basteri is still alive, no one can officially confirm that to be true. But the fans were formulate theories based on all of the controversies that Miguel’s father Luisito Rey was involved in at the time of his disappearance.
