squid game is what happens when people’s lives and millions of dollars are at stake. This Netflix original series also has a soundtrack available on most music streaming platforms.

South Korean composer Jung Jaeil chose and composed the music for squid game. Modern hits were included in the narration, including a version of “Fly Me To The Moon” in the game “Hide and Seek”. Additionally, the musicians are awakened by Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto in E flat major.

The Netflix series included original compositions, some of which have garnered millions of Spotify streams. According to classicfm.com, this combination of classic hits and traditional Korean soundtracks is what makes squid game music so unique.

Trixie Mattel and Katya commented on the music of ‘Squid Game’

In addition to playing RuPaul’s Drag Race season 7, drag queens Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova appear in a Netflix YouTube series called “I Love Watching”. They react to certain movies and television programs available to subscribers.

After several Vanessa Hudgens films, Trixie Mattel and Katya finally sat down to react to squid game, one of Netflix’s most popular shows of 2021. The two drag performers had previously binge-watched the series, sharing their excitement at watching the YouTube series again.

“I’m excited to relive it with you because I’ve thought about it. Thoughts and feelings,” Trixie Mattel said. Katya agreed, saying, “I blame capitalism.”

While watching the dalgona candies episode, Trixie Mattel started dancing to the background music – “Needles and Dalgona” by Park Minju. Katya cracked up with her co-star.

“None of the musical girls do it like SquidTrixie Mattel joked while dancing. “Doua Lipa? Fiasco. Doja cat? Fiasco.”

Trixie Mattel is a country artist as well as a drag performer, earning accolades for her albums Two birds and A stone. She’s also not the first celebrity to share her support for squid game and its soundtrack.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa dressed as a “Hide and Seek” doll. BTS’ RM dressed his dog in a green tracksuit similar to those worn by the squid game players. Moreover, this Halloween meant several squid game celebrity fancy dress and parties.

Chrissy Teigen hosted a lavish squid game event, receiving criticism from viewers in the process. Some social media users commented on how the celebrities missed the show by attending an expensive party. Other celebrities have supported the message of the Netflix original series, including Adele.
